Any ideas where to start?

One is standing on our family land in Chico Texas dedicated to my great grandfather, who dug the first oil well in Wise County Texas.  The plaques on the monument have fallen of and since been stolen.  I have been trying to research these monuments to find out if there is still a group in existance that maintained records of these monuments.  I have not had any luck.

I would like to know if there is anyone I can contact to find out if I can get replacement plaques for the monument and at least find out what the verbage was and find someone to re-manufacture the plaques myself.
