The Salt Creek Field today looks like a battlefield,but is back in production using CO2 gas as a solvent..Probably has another 80 yrs. of production..

Was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where to find information on the following two oil companies. These were listed in the obituary of my gg-grandfather’s brother, Lilburn Phillips of Hastings, Nebraska from March 2, 1953.
These were:
Nebraska-Wyoming Oil Company-states he was the president.
Kanfield Oil Company- states he was a member of the board of directors.
