6 yrs old. Two things stick in my mind. A scary creature called the Child of the Earth
inhabited the tank. Second, I witnessed long trains carrying hundreds of people probably going to California seeking work.These people were sitting on top of box
cars(men, women and little children) sometimes even the coal cars. It was like
seeing a movie. It was very dramatic to me.
