But the not-so-natural exhaust fumes and waste from extraction, transportation and cosumption. This and a industrial spill is very different from the natural seepage in duration, quantity and chemical make up.
Narrow it down all you like but the reality is oil production has an overall negative impact on the environment.
P.S. save the snarky “you drive a car” crap for the play ground.

I recently visited a Facebook page that has a lot of information on natural oil seeps. SOS California. IF we want renewable resources we need money first, oil can do this. Especially for California.
